Program Curriculum

Module 1 – 1 Hour Per Session

The Foundation of being a professional Session / Studio or Backing up Musician.

  1. 5 Essential Rudiments (Drum Dept.) / Scales and Modes (for Other Departments)
  2. Applied Sight Reading Materials / Pro Level with Tempo Variations
  3. Pro Level Drum Charts (Drum Dept.) / Music Charts (for Other Departments)
  4. Rhythm Dictation and Feel tests
  5. Effective Warm ups and Exercises for working musicians
  6. 28 Songs to learn and to be completed Before progressing to the Next Module
  7. Writing their own Drum or Music Charts
  8. Weekly Evaluation
  9. Depending on the Student’s Skill Level and time of practice, a further Recourse or Re-enrollment to Level stages (1-3) will be recommended in the event of not completing the required 28 songs
  10. 3 songs to perform on the Graduation Day (12th Session) with the Program Director of AIM Academy to evaluate
  11. Certificate of Completion Signed by AIM Academy Executives will be given

MODULE 2 – 1.5 hours per session

Bringing the actual Session / Studio or Backing up Musician Work (Live playing and Recording situation) in the Program.

  1. 40 Standard Rudiments (Drum Dept.) / Scales and Modes (for Other Departments)
  2. Applied Sight Reading Materials / Pro Level with Tempo Variations
  3. Pro Level Drum Charts (Drum Dept.) / Music Charts (for Other Departments)
  4. Complex Rhythm Dictation and Feel tests
  5. Original Fills and Combination Exercises for working musicians
  6. 44 Songs to learn and to be completed Before progressing to the Next Module.
  7. Writing their own Drum or Music Charts
  8. Weekly Evaluation
  9. Depending on the Student’s Skill Level and time of practice, a further Recourse or Re-enrollment to Level stages (1-3) will be recommended in the event of not completing the required 28 songs.
  10. 3 songs to perform on the Graduation Day (12th Session) with the Program Director of AIM Academy to evaluate.
  11. Certificate of Completion Signed by AIM Academy Executives will be given.

MODULE 3 – 1.5 hours per session

Further Advancement on being a Session / Studio / Touring or Backing up Musician

  1. 40 Standard Rudiments (Drum Dept.) / Scales and Modes (for Other Departments)
  2. Applied Sight Reading Materials / Pro Level with Tempo Variations
  3. 10 Music Genres to study and perform
  4. Pro Level Drum Charts (Drum Dept.) / Music Charts (for Other Departments)
  5. Complex Rhythm Dictation and Feel tests
  6. Original Fills and Combination Exercises for working musicians
  7. 14 MEDLEYS and 5 songs to learn and to be completed Before advancing to the Next Module.
  8. 12 Own Song choices from the Student to be performed and evaluated.
  9. Weekly Evaluation
  10. Depending on the Student’s Skill Level and time of practice, a further Recourse or Re-enrollment to Level stages (1-3) will be recommended in the event of not completing the required 28 songs.
  11. 3 songs to perform on the Graduation Day (12th Session) with the Program Director of AIM Academy to evaluate.
  12. Certificate of Completion Signed by AIM Academy Executives will be given.

MODULE 4 – 1.5 hours per session

Handing over the decades of Experience and Materials of AIM Academy’s Educators from Different Musical Directors and International Artists.

  1. Music Chart Analysis from 8-10 Musical Directors
  2. TV Show Materials to perform.
  3. Actual Album Recording Materials to Study and Perform
  4. Actual Live Performance Materials to Study and Perform
  5. 8-10 Different Genres from Different Artists
  6. 10 MEDLEYS and 15 songs to learn and to be completed Before stepping up to the Next Module.
  7. Weekly Evaluation
  8. Depending on the Student’s Skill Level and time of practice, a further Recourse or Re-enrollment to Level stages (1-3) will be recommended in the event of not completing the required 28 songs.
  9. 3 songs to perform on the Graduation Day (12th Session) with the Program Director of AIM Academy to evaluate.
  10. Certificate of Completion Signed by AIM Academy Executives will be given.

MODULE 5 – 1.5 hours per session

Preparation to Become a Music Educator and achieving an Independent Record Album.

  1. Student’s Choice of Style and Materials to be recorded in the project album.
  2. Creating their Own Music Charts
  3. Learning how to Record and Produce an album.
  4. 2-3 Song choices Or Instrumentals to be recorded per student.
  5. Playing along on 2 Tracks in the project album with AIM Academy’s Program Director.
  6. Designing the Album artwork
  7. Real Deal Experience on a Recording Studio.
  8. Learn the process of Recording Mix
  9. Learn and Experience the process of Audio Mastering.
  10. Master Copy of the Album will be given to each student for mass production.
  11. Certificate of Completion Signed by AIM Academy Executives will be given.

Proficiency Course for PROs / Exclusive One on One

Focusing and Mastering on a Particular style of Music

  1. All 12 Materials are Tailored to the needs of the student
  2. AIM Academy will provide the Customized Brand New Music Charts and Video Demos of the 12 chosen materials without extra charge
  3. The Student can further take up more additional Specialization course if they wish to do so.
  4. 3 songs to perform on the Graduation Day (12th Session) with the Program Director of AIM Academy to evaluate.
  5. Certificate of Completion Signed by AIM Academy Executives will be given.
